Casa Mimosa is built on multi-generational family land where humble beginnings have evolved to luxury through the hard work and dedication of our ancestors. What started off as a family dream has become a reality and it is a true testament to the visionary talents of the da Cunha family.
Casa Mimosa is a small family business aimed at providing a space for all to enjoy the fruits of Lamego, Portugal, welcoming tourists and portuguese residence as an ode to honor the sacrifices of those who have come before us.
The hills of Lamego are painted with yellow Mimosa flowers from March until May. From May to July, the Acacia trees and Pine trees continue to sprinkle the landscape in yellow.

Casa Mimosa is committed to generating less waste, using less water, and draining less energy. Our guests are required to be mindful of the environment to preserve our beautiful views for future generations. We invite guests to help us participate in an environmentally friendly stay. Separate recycling and organic waste, only switch lights and aircon on when in the unit.
